About Mommy & Me Vietnamese
Mommy & Me Vietnamese is a bilingual education platform for young children and families. We create original Vietnamese–English songs, videos, and resources that support language learning, cultural pride, and connection at home and in the community.
Our Mission
At Mommy & Me Vietnamese, our mission is simple but deeply personal:
to help Vietnamese children feel seen, proud, and connected to their culture through language, music, and shared family experiences.
We believe learning Vietnamese can feel joyful, playful, and woven into everyday life. Through songs, videos, and resources made for young children, we support families raising bilingual, bicultural kids in a way that feels natural and loving.
Our Roots
Mommy & Me Vietnamese is rooted in family, storytelling, and a deep love for Vietnamese children’s media.
We grew up watching our parents build The He Tre, a beloved Vietnamese children’s music and video project that shaped the childhoods of so many families. Their work filled homes with song, laughter, and language, and showed us the power of media to connect kids to culture in joyful, meaningful ways.
From an early age, we were immersed in music, performance, and community. We saw firsthand how Vietnamese language could live not just in classrooms, but in living rooms, car rides, and shared family moments.
Mommy & Me Vietnamese is our way of carrying that legacy forward — reimagined for today’s families and the Vietnamese diaspora. While the platforms may look different, the heart remains the same:
creating content that helps children grow up hearing, loving, and feeling proud of Vietnamese.
